Getting ready for the Eco Symposium!

We are starting off this week already on a good note. Over the weekend, team members Brandon and Rob had the opportunity to speak on WINZ 940AM radio station about our Solar Car. We also had our car seat dropped off by Donnie Balding. Everything fits perfect. SK3 is currently in good working condition, thanks to the whole team. This week we plan on setting up for the Eco Symposium along with putting the finishing touches on SK3.

YAY! Batteries for the SOLAR TEMPLAR!

Woohoo, we got a new shipment of batteries for Solar Templar! The whole team has been in full speed mode for over a week now. Freshman Jasen is learning the ropes about SK3 throttle. The ball is rolling and nothing is stopping this team from reaching its goals.

Rewiring the motor controller

The whole Solar Knights team is hard at work this week. Emily and Fernando are finishing up the plug for SKIII canopy. Matty and Fernando are rewiring the motor controller. We hope to finish both these tasks by the end of the week. Also we are going to start working on our regenbrakes. Big thanks to Bombardier and Donnie Balding for the help with the awesome roll cadge!

FGCU Solar GoKart

Today we competed for the first time at the FGCU Solar Go Kart race! We completed the race and really worked together as a strong team. We will learn from the mistakes we made this year, and make our kart unbeatable next year!
